About the Role

Richlabz IT Solutions is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications and software solutions.

The candidate will work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to build reliable, scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. This role provides an opportunity to work on real-world projects for clients across different industries using modern web development technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP, Laravel, and CodeIgniter.
• Design, develop, and manage databases using MySQL.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
• Debug and resolve application errors and technical issues.
• Optimize application performance and database queries.
• Analyze client and business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Work closely with designers, developers, and project managers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Maintain and improve existing web applications and software modules.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and development best practices.
• Implement appropriate application security practices.
• Use Git for source-code management and version control.
• Test developed features and fix bugs before deployment.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for developed features.
• Assist in deployment, maintenance, and post-production support when required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of PHP
• Professional experience with Laravel
• Experience with CodeIgniter
• Strong knowledge of MySQL
• Good understanding of HTML and CSS
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript
• Experience with REST APIs
• Good understanding of MVC architecture
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
• Experience with Git
• Good knowledge of SQL queries and relational databases
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional experience in PHP web development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming.
• Experience developing database-driven web applications.
• Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Good knowledge of MySQL database design and query optimization.
• Experience with AJAX, JSON, and API integrations.
• Familiarity with responsive web development.
• Experience working with client-based or multi-project development environments.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks within deadlines.
• Experience working on multiple projects will be an added advantage.
